About the Artist: Angela Rizza
Angela Rizza’s work is inspired greatly by the wildlife around her home and her favorite stories she read growing up.
When working on children's books, she creates images that appeal to her inner child, drawings with lots of details, color, and quality that capture the attention of the viewer. In her personal work she loves looking for parallels in nature. Finding plants and creatures with similar colors and patterns and creating a piece inspired by them all.
Her process is hand inking with brush and pen her line work then applying her colors digitally. Currently she has expanded from illustration to tattooing where she focuses on black and grey flora and fauna.
