William Shakespeare's THE FIRST FOLIO

The 1623 first publication of Shakespeare's plays …

It is one of the rarest and most highly valued books in the history of publishing – the rare First Folio of the works of William Shakespeare.

Four hundred years after his death, Shakespeare stands as the one author against which all others are measured. His plays spanned genres, each one revealing something about just what it means to be human.

The First Folio, originally published in 1623, collected 36 Shakespeare plays. Only 228 copies out of an initial printing of approximately 750 are still in existence. In 2001, a copy was sold at auction for more than $6 million!

This stunning leather-bound volume is a magnificent reproduction of the legendary book. A hand-numbered Limited Edition of just 1623 copies!

Oversized Edition (8 1/2" x 13 1/2", 928pp)
